The terms that apply when you engage READA L.L.C-FZ.
acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the services provided by READA L.L.C-FZ, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not engage our services.
services
READA L.L.C-FZ, registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (License 2423852.01, Licensed Activity 7320.00), is a cultural intelligence firm. We provide qualitative and quantitative consumer research, Market Intelligence Reports, READA Pulse community-panel surveys, and READA Live on-demand expert interviews across the Middle East and Africa.
engagement and deliverables
Each engagement is governed by a written proposal or statement of work specifying the scope, methodology, timeline, and fees. Deliverables, milestones, and revision rights are defined in that document. Verbal commitments do not bind READA unless confirmed in writing.
payment and invoicing
Fees and payment terms are agreed in the proposal or statement of work. Standard engagements require a deposit before fieldwork begins. Invoices are issued in accordance with the agreed milestones and are payable within the period specified in the agreement.
cancellations and refunds
Cancellation terms are set out in the engagement agreement. Where fieldwork has commenced, costs incurred up to the point of cancellation (including respondent honoraria, scheduled sessions, and analyst time) are non-refundable.
confidentiality
READA treats client briefs, business information, and findings produced during an engagement as confidential. Respondent personal information collected during research is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UAE data protection law.
intellectual property
Reports, presentations, frameworks, and methodologies developed by READA remain READA's intellectual property unless explicitly assigned in writing. Clients receive a perpetual, non-transferable licence to use the deliverables for their internal business purposes. Reproduction, redistribution, or onward sale of READA materials without written consent is not permitted.
limitation of liability
Research findings are insights informed by qualitative and quantitative methods, not guarantees of commercial outcomes. READA's total liability arising from any engagement is capped at the fees paid for that engagement. READA is not liable for indirect, consequential, or commercial loss.
governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms or an engagement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) or, where applicable, the relevant courts of Dubai.
changes to terms
READA may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version current at the date of an engagement governs that engagement. Continued use of our services after a change has been published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
